Beeston Sixes
This years 36th annual Beeston Sixes hockey tournament will be held from Friday 30th July - Sunday 1st August 2010. Hockey will be on the Saturday and Sunday, and the entertainment kicking off the Friday night before. We've had to move to a later date in the summer as in July, we are hosting the Samsung Womens' Champions Trophy, as well as a four nations mens international tournament.
The year after loads of positive feedback we're keeping the tented village venue, with bar and stage area and two nights of entertainment. Once again we'll be running the whole tournament on the astroturf pitches.
One big change this year is that we're going all inclusive drinks on the Friday and Saturday night. Entry to the tented village will be by wristband only. These will cost £45 for the weekend, and will include all drinks on both nights when the tent opens, until 2am. We think that represents really good value for money.
During the day we'll be running a cash bar, and food will be on sale throughout the event.
Tournament entry this year is £260 per team of ten which includes camping.
